Lose 10 Pounds a Week-Tips to Make You Lose 10 Pounds in a Weeks Time!

Lose 10 Pounds a Week – Tips to Make You Lose 10 Pounds in a Week’s Time

You are almost out of time. Your high school reunion or wedding is shortly coming up. You have prepared the best clothes and shoes to wear but alas, there is one thing more that needs to be done: lose weight. But with the time left, is there something that you can do to lose 10 pounds a week?

Do not fret because the answer is yes. Here are several things that you can do to help you become 10 pounds lighter in just a matter of days.

1. You can lose 10 pounds a week by cutting your carbohydrate intake to an absolute minimum. Instead of eating bread, pasta, rice or any carbohydrate rich food during your lunch, you can try eating fruits and raw vegetables instead. Have an apple or a few carrot sticks. Both have enough fiber to make you feel full without all the guilt.

2. Get your protein from reasonable amounts of lean meat or beans. Stay away from processed ones as these contain high amounts of salt that would make you retain a lot of water in your body.

3. Drink lots of liquid. Drinking lots of liquid can actually be beneficial in two ways. One, it can help facilitate digestion and detoxification and two, it can help you feel full in between meals. If you can, try to limit your options to water, as this liquid is free of any hidden calories and harmful chemicals.

4. Take your exercising up a notch. If you used to exercise thrice a week, then you may want to do it every day of the week. Tiring yes, but this is one of the sacrifices that you must do if you are aiming to lose weight the soonest possible time.

Here is another tip. Some studies have proven that a short routine works better than a longer one. So if you want to lose 10 pounds a week, you can break up your entire 40 – minute exercise routine to 4 segments of 10 minutes each or 2 sets with 20 minutes each.
The steps may seem really easy, but the challenge comes in when you are actually doing it. So just be patient and all your efforts will pay off. Remember this “lose 10 pounds a week” routine only is only ideal if you want to lose weight prior to a special event or if you want to break out of a weight loss plateau. You cannot do this for a long period of time, as it may be dangerous to your health.
